Blogging is all about making money by providing accurate information to the readers and subscribers. Though many bloggers have come up with deeply curated and convenient products and services yet, many of them rely on promoting a third-party solution to its readers. In this regard, Amazon’s associate program is not less than a bonanza for bloggers. Amazon associates can promote its content through their blog and upon successful conversion, they are paid a 'Bounty'.

Not only Amazon, most of the e-commerce company are doing this but Amazon is one who is systematized in this stream and accelerate its marketing efforts this way. It provides associates sufficient tools and techniques to advertise Amazon’s products on their websites.

Now, before going deep inside the Amazon tools for bloggers, I would like to check the legitimacy of the entire process. In fact, Browsers and subscribers of a blog are being redirected to the Amazons main portal as soon as they click on the link given on your website. On successful account opening or sales conversion, Amazon pays a commission to its associates.

So, is it legitimate and/or are browsers paying any extra amount going via this route?

Here, we can see that there are five menu buttons, under them there have given sub-menus to provide us with all the linking apparatus. We can even target a “word” to be linked to our amazon associate account. For this amazon gives us the HTML code. For example, if we are writing a post in which the word ‘Napkin’ has been used often. What Amazon will provide us with a link for napkins advertised on its website on behalf of your associate account. Now we can link that HTML code with the word ‘Napkin’.

Personally, I feel that the search widget provided on Amazon’s Associate Page is awesome. We just need to put it on our blog and done. In this way, we will not show our preferred products to the readers because it might be possible that the readers have a different smell-test. Amazon’s Search Bar gives them access across entire product categories and sub-categories. It’s now on readers as what are they looking for?
